Throwback Thursday

I started Throwback Thursday for anyone who would like an extra sneak peak into my past life before blogging.  These pictures are just random, there is no order to them but they sure do bring back a lot of memories.

These boys, I pray are best friends for life.

First hair cut and first lollipop.

For Evan's 3rd birthday we got him a mickey mouse clubhouse guitar and its still his favorite.

Ryan's first birthday cake.  We went with an entire nautical theme and we had his party at the cutest lake near our house.  We have a beach pass and we practically live there all summer.

This was Evan's 3rd birthday cake.  All boy.  All the time.

Our church is still talking about how Evan was the giraffe in the play the kids put on Christmas Eve.  His role was to walk out with the shepherds... & sit before baby Jesus... so he did, with his giraffe.  I loved that they encouraged him to be comfortable in playing the part the way he wanted to play it.

Matt recently passed his Captains license and here we are having a celebration bon fire.  We had his family over and we made homemade pizzas and toasted marshmallows around the fire.

How cute is this cake?  When my mother in law carried it over we all sang Row Row Row Your boat... the kids LOVED it.

No fears.

Riding the rides at Story Land.

Asking for an autograph.

AGGGHHHH, I remember the day when I said "Evan, buddy, I think you have outgrown your crib" It was a hard transition for all but we made it.  We would put him to bed and after we would leave he would crawl out of his crib and grab all the pillows and blankets he could in the room and pile them high.  Some nights I wondered how he was ever comfortable.  #mybabyissobig #ificouldkeepyoulittle

First camp out ever is in the books. I'm sure Matt would have liked to be the first one to take him but no, it was me.  My friend Jess hosted all her nieces and nephews for a movie/campout with all the trimmings and we were invited.  It was a blast.  Evan LOVED every second of it.  Especially sleeping in his sleeping bag.  I am looking forward to another summer of camping.

This kid loves the dentist.  I am not sure of any toddler who would willingly go, but Evan is a huge fan.

Miss Kinley.. named after Mt. McKinley in Alaska.  She was the baby of the family for so long..

This was last year at the town fishing derby.  Evan has been going since he could walk.  He loves it.  They put on such a great program for the kids.  It is sponsored by the police department.

Matt had to take a training course down in Florida and we tagged along.  We spent the day at the beach and the pool while he was in class and then he met up with us after.  I loved just spending time all together as a family at night in our hotel room.  Sleeping and cuddling with our babies was the best.

Sweetest face!

Thanks for stopping in and taking a look around.
